I reckon myself dead to sin and alive to

God and live by the Truth of His Word

I realize my true identity as a saint for I am righteous, Holy, and blameless in Him.

I know my old man (sin nature) is

crucified, and the body of sin destroyed.

I believe that my old self (sin nature)

is very much alive and active in my soul.

I realize that my true identity is in my flesh and that I am only a sinner, saved by grace.

I focus on the many sins in my life, and they overcome me and place me under guilt.

I understand that Satan has no authority

because I am dead to sin.

I appropriate my co-crucifixion and

co-resurrection and know Christ is my Life.

I resign myself to a life long struggle of trying

to do what I should, and keep failing.

I understand because I am a sinner, Satan

exercises control through my members.
